NLP/ML Engineer

HiveFire is an early-stage technology start up located in Cambridge, MA and Bangalore, India. We are seeking exceptional engineers to join our existing team with experience from MIT, Google, Microsoft and several other start-ups.
Engineers at HiveFire are tackling some of the hardest challenges of today's dynamic web:
- How do you overcome information overload?
- How do you reveal patterns from arbitrary and enormous datasets?
- How do you research, not just search, the web?
- How do you use state-of-the-art machine learning, natural language processing, information retrieval, human computer interaction and search engineering techniques to meet these challenges?

Requirements
- Ability to design, implement and evaluate sophisticated machine learning and text analysis models.
- Solid understanding of both unsupervised and supervised approaches.
- Familiarity with NLP/Machine Learning/Information Retrieval tasks including but not limited to: summarization, document clustering, text-processing, discourse analysis, text mining, tagging, classification and natural language generation.
- Keen interest in using machine learning to build a robust but practical product.
- Quick learner – ready to learn new technologies on the job.
- An easy-going, collaborative personality.
- Experience working with close-knit, collaborative team.
